I prefer windows xp to windows vista. Is there anyway I could delete (un install) the vista and install windows xp. ?? any suggestions on how to do this.How to replace windows vista with windows xp?
You will have to boot from your Windows XP installation disk and tell it to delete the Vista partition that is there. Then reformat it and install XP there.
Naturally that will mean any data on the drive is lost so be sure to backup anything you want to keep.
I've given the source of a web site with some details for you.How to replace windows vista with windows xp?

First make sure that you can get XP drivers for all the hardware in the computer. If you can't, stop there and learn to like Vista. (Windows talks to drivers, not to hardware. Any hardware you cn't get the driver for is hardware you can't use.) Usually the computer manufacturer will have XP drivers for that model but, in some cases, they don't (the hardware manufacturer only wrote Vista drivers), so you can't use the hardware on XP.
@David:
Drivers will work on the hardware they're written for. There's no ';Vista hardware'; or ';XP hardware';, only Vista or XP drivers for a particular piece of hardware. (A driver is written for a specific piece of hardware.)
