but is there a way to extract all the vista files from my hdd so i can make a full vista installation disc. i seem to remember doing this years ago with win 98 but cant remember how.
thanxNew laptop with vista basic, no install disk included?
I agree with you ...XP is better than Vista. Would it be easier just to buy a new harddrive and remove your old one? lt's not hard to replace a laptop harddrive and you could just put XP on that one instead.
Just a thought....New laptop with vista basic, no install disk included?
Almost 2 years later and there are still morons that downgrade a brand new computer!!!! Look at the calendar guy,it is not 2002 anymore.
people aren't afraid of ';upgrading'; their cars and clothes every few months/years but their OS... oh well.
just find a friend with a vista disk. you legally have a license to run vista so i don't think it'll be against copyright laws to get a copy of the os you're running.
