This is a complicated question to answer. It depends heavily on the specific computer you are trying to downgrade to XP. what is the model number?

Keep in mind that on newer computers some hardware, usually sound cards, will not be supported on older operating systems.
Your using windows vista and your trying to use a program that is not compatible to vista right? If thats the case all you need to do is go to control panel, click programs and click use an older version and find the file you need to change the compatibility from vista to xp.
