Need help with vista and windows??

i got a new computer for my daughter...

but its in windows vista...

i have no idea how to use windows vista nor do i have the time to learn...



so is there anyway to get rid of windows vista and replace it with windows xp?

Well vista isn't that bad dude. Its same as XP but better.. Theres nothing different except for the Sidebar. I wouldn't recommend you replace it, because of all the trouble..Only way to convert Vista into XP is to download a windows XP version which may contain a virus and ruin your computerNeed help with vista and windows??
vista isnt really that different, you say its for your daughter,how old? vista has great parental control features and such. its cheaper to just keep it. the way to replace it is to go out and buy a windows xp installation disc. pop it in the cd or dvd drive restart the computer and the cd then loads...however you will lose everything currently on the computer..





personally i prefer vista...but then agian i am a tech nerd.
