PC problem Please help I beg you desperate.. About DRIVERS..XP.. Vista.. PC info!!!! JUST READ PLS?

SO you might find this a little dumb...



My dad bought us a PC last year and it had vista.. It was all fine (except for those thing only vista can't do) ... ok so I don't know, if it's hardware drivers etc was built/designed for vista.. But we hated vista sooo much.. so we refromatted our PC ( dont know how it was done)



So now it's XP... and we have sooo many problems with the drivers.. 1st of all



.. NO SOUND.. IT JUST WONT ALLOW MO TO HAVE SOUNDS



.. WRONG VIDEO CARDS!!!



... NO PROPER DIRECT X ( installed one.. no use)



.. SLOW ( not really that slow just thyat vista was faster)







Ok so I rilli dont wann go bsack to vista...





SO does this mean I have to replace all teh drivers and all the hardware.. etc etc.. IF so.. how!!! instruction pls!!!

Sound: Right click on the my computer icon and select Properties, Hardware, Device Manager. Locate your sound card in the list. This will tell you what type of sound card you have. Write down the manufacturer and model number. Go to their website and download the XP driver for it.

Ok go to control panel look for device manager (in vista its under system %26amp;maintenance idk about xp) But u can search help in windows and it willl tell you where to find the device manager.

then select the hardware,then u want and select update drivers. if your video card driver isnt working then directX wont run.
