I bought a laptop a few years ago that had Windows Vista already installed on it and I am sooo fed up with how slow it runs. I miss using Windows XP! I don't want to go to Best Buy and spend hundreds of $$ to do what I could probably do myself.

Step one, back up any data from your laptop you want to keep.
Step two Get a XP ';FULL'; install CD, not the upgrade and boot the laptop from the CD
Step three, during XP install, choose the option to ';reformat'; the disk.
Step four, Nirvana....
