Replacing Vista with XP?

Hey. So I'm getting a new laptop, which I like very much, but it comes with Vista, and I would prefer to run XP. How do I go about doing this?Replacing Vista with XP?
Because there is no data on that machine that you will want to keep (because it's new) it makes it easier. If you do, just move it to another place because this will get rid of everything. You will need to have a Windows XP disk, which i assume you already have. If not you will have to buy one. Onces you have your windows XP disk, restart the machine.

Follow these instructions on how to set boot priorities to CD so that you can boot off the Xp cd and then install it:

Once you have that done, restart your computer again with the Xp Disk inside. Once you are prompt to ';Press any key to enter setup'; or a similar message, press any key. Let it load all of files, then when you are prompted, press enter to ';Start Windows Setup.'; On the next page, click F8 to agree to the terms. On the procceding page, you will see the ';partitions'; of your hard drive. Delete the Partition that is on your hard drive. You do that by selecting the Partition with the keys and then press D, then Enter, then lose. Then select the empty space and then Select Format NTFS (Quick), then it do that, and then follow the instructions.
