Replace window vista with xp.?

How can i delate win vista and install xp?

i used done this kind of thing before, but i had been out of the game so long i frogot what command to isuue.Replace window vista with xp.?
Yes, it is possible, however:

1) Make sure that XP drivers are available for all your hardware - some manufactures stopped providing those and offer Vista drivers only.

2) If your computer is still under warranty downgrading to XP may void the warranty - check with manufacturer.

3) Your hard drive may have controller not supported in XP (usually SATA) - in that case you may have to go through additional steps like making changes in Bios settings to disable SATA native support - more info here:

If you decide to go through with it you will need a clean install i.e. removing Vista partition, creating new XP partition and than installing XP (http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/how_do_i_install_windows_xp.htm). Make sure you have full (not upgrade only) bootable XP CD, preferably with SP2. Below link provides more info on the process:

Best of luck!Replace window vista with xp.?
First I highly recommend that u don't install xp over vista because of driver issues(graphics card sound card etc...) but if u want to u first have to install another os other than xp. Vista has some sort of security measure that prevents u from installing xp even from bios sceen ( it will copy files but when it restarts it doest boot up) I recommend installing ubuntu and then Xp over ubuntu. Have fun!
Why degrade your nice computer with XP?

VISTA is great. I keep hearing about people hating it but each person I personally talked to that claimed it was no good actually never tried it, just heard it was bad.

I have not had one iota of trouble with VISTA since the first hour or two as I learned the differences, and they were minor.

Now I like XP a lot less than VISTA.
